Dr Sheel Sheth is the Academic Head and In-charge of Planning and Conduct of Courses for PHGAFT.

A qualified Medical Practitioner & Fitness Consultant, Yoga-Therapist, Naturopath, Nutritionist, Counselor and Expert on Stress Management and NLP (Neuro- Linguistic Programming), Dr. Sheth holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development. He is amongst the first few Doctors from India to get certified by ISSA (International Sports Science Association, USA) where he had the privilege to train under Industry stalwarts like Dr Kinjal Suratwwala, Dr Hemakshi Basu, Dr. Pinto, etc..

Dr. Sheth holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Training and Development. He is amongst the first few Doctors from India to get certified by ISSA, USA. Dr. Sheth has been associated with various Fitness Academies like Talwalkars, BFY, Fundamentals Academy of Fitness Training, Mumbai, Symbiosis, MITCON, Oxyfit Chain of Gyms, Pune, Goa Football Council, Krida Prabhodhini, Maharashtra Dept. of Youth Affairs, etc….and was also selected as Faculty for K-11 Academy.

Dr. Sheth has written various books, on Fitness and Allied Subjects like Illustrated Practical Exercise Anatomy; Theory of Fitness (Exercise Physiology), Sports Fitness Conditioning; Diet, Nutrition and Supplements for Fitness And Sports; Yoga-Level 1 (for Personal Training and Group Fitness Classes); Fitness Rehab For Special Populations; Swedish Massage; Fitness Guidelines for Children; Shapes : The Complete Slimming and Fitness Guide. Dr. Sheth is also co-authoring a book on Fitness for 30+ with Dr Parag Sancheti, Sancheti Hospital, Pune.A very important part of Dr. Sheth’s research is about ‘Fitness Programming’ wherein he has laid down clear guidelines to help you select the most appropriate and effective periodized fitness regimen based on your age, fitness goals & fitness abilities.
